Herd Sires
KNM Q-Bar 519
A bull that we bought from Medalan Angus that is a grandson of Basin Q Bar that was born in 1973 and stems from a productive cow line. Keith has a full sister in production. A bull that you have to appreciate for his overall mass and length in a moderate package. We’ll calve his first daughters this spring.
J5 Z314 Kung Fu C74
A bull bought out of the Bowels J5 Red Angus. A calm Warrior that has muscle stacked in his pedigree and on every square inch of his body. He is quiet and athletic while having a herd bull look with style and structure and substance to back his performance
figures. We are very excited to calve in his daughters this coming spring and to see what the future has in store for this young bull.
Brown Pursuit A7670
A true calving ease bull that we have used the last three years on our heifers. A true outlier in his genetic predictions that ranks in the top 10% for eight economically important traits. He will sire moderate framed, easy-keeping, nice uddered and hassle free females. Will calve in his first daughters this spring.
DR Cannon C70
Cannon goes back to our oldest cow on the ranch who is 17 years old and due to calve again in 2021. We had used him as a clean up bull on a set of AI cows in 2018 and got a few calves and he has been our main herd sire the last two years . A very moderate, easy fleshing maternal bull that has built in longevity and a very quiet disposition.
